Description

We are currently looking for an experienced full time Bartender to work in Mark Hix's new restaurant and bar in Hix, Belgravia within the newly refurbished ‘Belgraves – A Thompson Hotel’ which is opened in January 2012. Mark’s Bar mirrors the original Mark’s in Soho and serves cocktails designed in conjunction with Nick Strangeway and has a secluded cigar terrace.

Mark Hix serves the best British and European seasonal produce available with regularly changing menus. This is a great opportunity to work with one of Britain's leading chefs and restaurateurs. Mark has three other London restaurants, in Soho, Farringdon and Selfridges department store and lastly one near his home town in Lyme Regis.

Requirements

At least two years' experience in a similar role and a strong command of English is essential. The right candidate will be a team player with good customer service skills, able to cope in a demanding role. A keen interest and knowledge of British food is preferred.
