Description
Spend the ski season working in Zermatt!
We are looking for a couple to work in one of our five star chalets in Zermatt, Switzerland.
We require a talented chef with a passion for food and cooking working in conjunction with a chalet host to deliver a five star product to our guests.
This chef's role will include full responsibility for the catering service within the chalet and includes providing breakfast, home baked afternoon tea, canapés and 4 course gourmet evening meals for the guests.
Our chefs will be responsible for working to a weekly budget, creating menus, purchasing all foods and maintaining health and safety standards in the kitchen.
This is a very demanding role but extremely rewarding.
The Chalet Host is responsible for all house-keeping duties, meal service, assisting the chef where required and all aspect of guest care.
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in top restaurants to a Michelin star standard preferred or similar
- Ability to run a highly professional kitchen and deliver a very high standard of cuisine
- Previous customer service and hospitality experience
- A second language preferred
- Highly self motivated and ready to work within a team and individually when needed
