Description
The Royal Cambridge Hotel requires a Chef de Partie.
The Chef de Partie will be operating with a well equipped kitchen and ample storage your responsibilities will include
- To support the Head Chef in ensuring the efficient, and effective running of the Kitchen.
- Ensure that the preparation and presentation of the food is of a high standard, and complies with food safety regulations.
- Support the achievement of budgeted food gross profit.
- To ensure all food is served to the required company standard.
- To aid the Head Chef in implementing all new menus.
- To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen operation.
- To strive and anticipate customer needs wherever possible, and to react to these to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that you are correctly dressed, adhere to high personal hygiene standards.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with the food service team.
- Comply with all regulations as stated in the normal operating procedures.
Previous experience of working in a busy kitchen, Basic Food Hygiene
intermediate food hygiene would be an advantage
Requirements
You must be;
- Self motivated and passionate about cooking
- Able to produce food to company standard
- Striving for quality and a team player
- An understanding of HACCAP and health and safety
- The successful applicant will possess experience from a similar environment, be creative and enthusiastic bringing your own ideas to enhance the current service.
