Description

The Royal Cambridge Hotel requires a Chef de Partie.

The Chef de Partie will be operating with a well equipped kitchen and ample storage your responsibilities will include

  • To support the Head Chef in ensuring the efficient, and effective running of the Kitchen.
  • Ensure that the preparation and presentation of the food is of a high standard, and complies with food safety regulations.
  • Support the achievement of budgeted food gross profit.
  • To ensure all food is served to the required company standard.
  • To aid the Head Chef in implementing all new menus.
  • To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen operation.
  • To strive and anticipate customer needs wherever possible, and to react to these to enhance customer satisfaction. 
  • Ensure that you are correctly dressed, adhere to high personal hygiene standards.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with the food service team.
  • Comply with all regulations as stated in the normal operating procedures.
Previous experience of working in a busy kitchen, Basic Food Hygiene
intermediate food hygiene would be an advantage

Requirements

You must be;
  • Self motivated and  passionate  about cooking
  • Able to produce food to company standard
  • Striving for quality and a team player
  • An understanding of HACCAP and health and safety
  • The successful applicant will possess experience from a similar  environment, be creative and enthusiastic bringing your own ideas to enhance the current service.
