Description
We are currently recruiting for someone to join our sales team, based in Edinburgh. We are ideally looking for someone with a keen interest in the ski and snowboard industry who has a proven sales record and the ability and drive to achieve sales targets.
Whether it’s mountain-biking in the summer sun in the French Alps or an action packed skiing holiday in the Sainte Foy snow, you will find this a great career opportunity. We would ideally like to employ someone who is based in Edinburgh with the opportunity to visit Sainte Foy from time to time.
The role will include:
- Answering client and agent enquires regarding booking a holiday via phone and email
- Identify and make contact with potential customers
- Preparing quotes for Premiere Neige Customers
- Updating agent websites
- Processing payments and following up outstanding amounts
- Initial enquiry follow ups
- Keeping up to date and accurate sales information
- Maintain contact with existing and potential customers to promote sales
- Being proactive to increase sales
- Clearly communicating all sales details to the operations and accounts departments
- Admin duties such as data entry, mail shots, filing, post, banking etc
Requirements
- Excellent, amiable and confident phone and email manner
- Experience in sales and/or the ski, leisure or travel industry
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- An excellent working knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Outlook & Word
- The ability to problem-solve and be proactive
- Confidence and strong organisation and communication skills
- The ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Be prepared to work on their own initiative as well as within a team
- Fluent written and spoken English vital
- Conversational (and written) French very advantageous
