Reservation Manager jobs may also be called Travel Sales Manager jobs. Reservations Managers usually lead a team of travel advisors who are seeking to maximize the conversion of enquirers to bookers. They will usually be working towards achieving weekly, monthly or quarterly sales targets.

Reservations managers will usually be experienced travel advisors who have demonstrated good sales ability and leadership skills. They will be expected to help their team of travel advisors achieve the best possible performance. Management and coaching skills are therefore essential qualities for this type of role. Administration skills are also important. As well as the accurate processing of bookings, this role often involves producing regular reports for the senior management team.
